as you may know in the UK we have red oktober event at crich tramway museum.

as this is coming up soon i thought i would remind everyone about it due to being a very good event and the only event in the uk that is based on east germany. so due to this it would be good to see a few of fellow forum members to join in and help promote the ways of the ddr

My young Genosse is right in drumming up support for this excellent event . The current plan of deployment is that he is going to get a lift from me, at dawn on the day itself when I will trundle the whole rig of Land Rover, trailer and Klaus down south for 238 Km. The Trabikübel and the Gaz 67 will meet with Klaus in the car park of the museum with as many troops as can be gathered. We shall then proceed to occupy the square and reclaim it for the people in one swift stroke . We trust and hope that the weather will be benign... This being October and during term, I keep my fingers crossed that my usual bout of freshers' flu will not knock me down as it normally does. Around 4pm, we expect to roll up on the trailers again and return to barracks.


In the old days, I used to be the one appealing for support for this unique event which was once entirely dedicated to East Berlin (and it still retains that spirit). How appropriate that a young Genosse should now draw his sword and point towards that Derbyshire hill to incite us all to new achievements! Brüder zur Sonne, zur Freiheit!

well i thought it was time that the flags must laid out for the event as it will be soon around the corner and on my mind on what kit to deploy.

I for one am looking forward to this event and will try to push the true ways of the DDR into the hearts of people from the western side of the wall. With help from the fellow comrades from the Durham Demokratische Republic and the North west Sector to deploy vehicles and our own duty car (the trabbie).

From current knowledge on the classified information that has been released by the grenztruppen and Zoll that there is a increase of numbers from previous years to attend this event than last year which may include a stasi man (James) and possibility of support from members of the FDJ and the GST all depending on political progression and issues with the peoples rate of production

I am looking forward to see many new people and old faces at this event. I hope more people will attend this.

Plus this will be a good chance for me to gain more knowledge on MZ motorbikes before i aquire one for the collection to protect the sector of the true socialist ways within the Durham Demokratische Republic (when i am there for the year)

Genossen,
This Command is retraining at the moment to become a more efficient work unit for the State, my free time is limited to obeying my Organ's of State Terror during her latest purge of my Rezidency.

I just don't have the time to attend and achieve my ( record breaking) work quotas to both.

The Crich deployment was once again a resounding success . All troops are now safe back to barracks and we are starting to share the photographic evidence. There were many professional/amateur photographers so I hope that more will surface on the net as time goes by...

It was a great day at Crich!There were many enjoyments which include the marching,the parade of vechles,and the FahnenKommando and meeting genossen,and protecting peace and socialism!I really miss it!

Clearly the absence of Genosse Viktor's trademarked snarl had significantly downgraded the intimidation factor of your magnificent show of force this year.
