    East German winter cap

Can someone out there kindly help me identify this East German winter cap as far as the correct organization? The silver-colored cockade is machine-embroidered and the sides as well as front and back are a muted or light green with a tinted gray in color. The top portion is a blue/gray color. Identification mark(s) inside are faded except for the size. I thought it might be a customs cap, but I'm not certain.

Nice looking hat looks Zoll, late 60's early 70's maybe? NVA used embroidered cockades on their winter hats around that time. can you add a photo of the inside

a photo for comparison I also have a used (dirty) customs hat that is very close to the MdI color. A lack of markings on a used hat could make a customs and a MdI hat hard to distinguish... ?

The absence of flaps on top denotes a female cap !

Thanks for your input (remarks and photo). I would agree that it is a customs hat.

It's too bad the markings are faded. It would be nice to know the date ...
I wonder if Photoshop could tease out the faded date?

IMO these winter hats with the embroidered wreath look nicer than the latter ones with the metal.
