Genosse Artillery men wearing both pouches.....

The only thing we can say is the Two and Three cell pouch can and was worn either way round and by its self if necessary as suited the availability of Scale of Issue and the Combat Mission..... as borne out by the declassified Historical Documents available.

On a lighter note, do you now see how sweet 39 was?, was every moment like drinking from the cup of the gods compared to the down hill trolley ride to doom and corruption we are now both on?.

As soon as you mentioned I immediately saw it in my mind... no need to check the book. You are obviously right Genosse. Trust you to find a justification for wearing more gear... ... My appeals for restraint were doomed from the start ...

On your so-called lighter note... (I remember well the conversation: in Crich October 2007...) I can only quote to you what my primary school teacher used to say: ageing is the only way to lead a long life... ... and every year or so, I add a star on my epaulettes

Da!..... one day Genosse iannima.... at a Gig many moons away..... there will be an awful lot of Marshell der DDR ..... for you it will be a problem, I doubt they made a General's Dienstuniform or FDA in under a size g56.... for me I will sadly find no problem.... .

        Respect.

          My second
          size M48.

          Following the new Blumentarn bible:
          http://flaechentarn-kraus.npage.de/
          ...together with the old...
          http://www.flaechentarn.de/index.htm
... I can venture a guess of a date of 1968/69 (stamps gone completely).
With the same references I have managed to date the first one as 1970 the youngest known Blumentarn!

I just noticed in the top photo of the radios in the back ground. I have one of those and never seen them in use. They are designed for retransmitting the radio signal for longer range. They so not have a place to connect a headset to. I am glad you posted it.

Da! Genosse Kozlov, Genosse iannima has made many powerful political allies.

It is becoming difficult to have him Arrested for his continued crimes against Dress Regulations of late.
