    A few Kampforden

Had the opportunity to put some new KO additions away today and in the process to look at the others in storage. Looks like I need a KO in Silver yet with the war time ribbon to make a set.

Jeff, It's nice to see that they went to a good home. I was tempted to pull the trigger on this "Buy it Now" offer on E-bay. But I already had 6 and I couldn't justify buying 6 more for $150. I'm sure I'll kick myself later. Kevin

Jeff - Very nice collection you have going on. the medal second from the left and very far right appear to have a slight color varient from the others. Also, is the far left medal your oldest kampforden medal.

          Ralph,
The color varient is for the two unissed KO in Gold & Bronze that would have been used in war time. They come up every now and then, but often for more than I want to spend. I don't know if the far left is oldest. None are 900 marked. All are a mix of pebbeled and flat surface. The far left is pebbeled.
          Torstenbel,
Forgot I even had that piece. Looks like a collectors copy or a very late rack for staff use? I liked the mix of awards, but I can't seem to locate my list of them at the moment.

I have a "Real Life" Easter Bunny at the house, but he didn't leave anything as cool as that at my house.

            Happy Easter, and Congrats Jeff.

Who and what was this medal awarded for? Was it an Order or a Merit award?

                      Follow up for Torsten

                      Hey Torsten,

Following up on your question, as I see GO Horst Stechbart's ribbon set is similar (see link below).

Jeff - Thanks for your latest post on Stechbart's ribbon bar. However, I feel a bit lost which bar(s) you are referencing?
