      Hey. I stumbled upon some more photos of soldiers in other countries using DDR stuff.
      This is from Mozambique


      Check out the jackets, helmets, gasmask bags, shoulder straps and even boots looks like the NVA jackboots

          Oh my...Except for the soldiers, it looks like a period NVA photo! And I thought that after East Germany fell no more countries had nice uniforms...Now, the Mozambiqueans do! Well, Mozambique has a history of using East German military stuff...I remember sometime when they received some ex-DDR MiG-15UTIs and MiG-17s...

              Wow, those are Africans in the training school in DDR. Where did you find that one?

              BTW I bet those boys are ANC MK troops, ZIPRA trained in DDR also but the uniforms are of the 1980s pattern (covered sleeve buttons) after Rhodesia fell.

                There are stories of the Culture clash sometimes Genossen, these Officer Cadets were attended a DDR Military School.... it is how any race or creed can wear a NVA Uniform.. a good Gag of you are of the mind.


                Trying to stop a Train by standing on the railway line... rather than using the Station as it is further to walk or having Knife Fights in bars was not the seen as satisfactory in the DDR.
