A very nice collection of Falli uniforms. I'm still on the hunt for the Falli overcoat.

So it is true that the fallshirmjagers followed the air force with addition of collar tabs on the collars of their overcoats?

              Nice collection!

But u need an other beret for the overcoat. Till 1983, collar patch were on the coat, then they were cutt off.

And the old baret didn't have the FJ badge next to the cocarde right?

What I was wondering; does a FJ wear his jumpboots with his stabsdienstuniform?

                Greetings

                      Hello Gigoo,

you should change the "Besten-Abzeichen". That is the wrong version (1986-1989). Your soldier-uniform has sleeve patches............these patches were cut off 1982.

And please change the position of the shooting cord. Look here:

I would think a leutnant of your rank would only need a 5 year service medal/bar and maybe a bronze or silver meritorious service medal/bar.

Nice catch with the greatcoat. That's probably the rarest item in the picture.

One minor quibble with your EM parade tunic: it should have the old style, aluminum thread cord with 14 knots. The 23 knot, nylon cord was not introduced until 1986, long after the elimination of cuff bars.

Other than that everything looks great.

In the dark collar days for the Fallis (1964 - 1968), they wore the standard Army dark collar greatcoat without collar tabs.

When they switched to the open collar tunic in 1969, they also switched to the plain collar greatcoat with collar tabs. This continued until 1986, when both the Air Force and the Fallis eliminated the use of collar tabs on the greatcoat.
