That sucks, I have been lucky (knock on wood). I have really only had one item never arrive. I would love to know where the missing stuff goes.

I'd be mad if any of my stuff got "lost" in the mail.

Have you gotten your money back?

I'm not going to rant on the $ issue, so much as lazy German sellers. In this case, through Paypal and eBay Germany my address was identical. However, the German seller joined a long line of other German sellers in NOT using my correct address. My name and address have been altered and my state removed. In others the zip was gone as well as the state. I recall a Held der Arbeit a few years back that was so messed up address wise it took three months to find it's way, that one had no zip and a misspelled city with no state.. It's been about 6 months on the flag, so I've given it up.

That's the reason why I send all Items registered or insured. Both sides can deal with it and when something dissapears, the insurance will pay for it.
What I hate more is unprofessional packing. Some Years ago I got 2 rare british Berlin - related Beer Steins. Packed in a soft Beer Can case with only one layer of Newspaper around ea. Stein. Guess What? I had 2 nice puzzles.

Odd how these things go. One time I bought a book from Germany and the PO returned it to the seller after about 18 months and the seller sent it back to me and it was delivered with no problem.

Another time, I sent an item (Registered) to Germany and the PO returned to me with a note that said the seller was not there. The guy in Germany went nuts saying the PO just did not want to bother with it. So, it went regular mail and he got it fine.

In Germany the "Mail" Problem is that they use a lot of "Non Regulars" like Students etc. To have the work easy they mark the Mail as not there or not accepted. I had it one time with a cheque. they said I didn't accepted the Letter and sent it back. Stupid to do so with a 28.000 Marks Cheque.
At my Postoffice I'm the Headmasters Nightmare, because ev everytime I hav e problem I'm there to complain.
