was the clip on net used on the first model M56 Stahlhelm?

would they have used the nylon clip on nets on the early first pattern M56 Stahlhelm?

in most early photos they dont appear to use those green clip on nets like around 1959 - 1965 era

On the first pattern I would guess that it is unlikely. There is an earlier version of the net without metal clips but instead a draw string. I have associated this to my earlier riveted helmet
    e.g.

P.S. notice Blumentarn suits with wood furniture AKMs and 1959 pattern bayonet

Da!, Genosse This Command gives depth to Genosse iannima's position.

This Rezidency has a Grey-Green cotton draw string net, used on it's early model 56 Helmet.

Yes, Drawstring Net's. 2 weeks ago I got 2000 Nets and I found 20 with String in the bunch.
