The last man in East Germany is an interesting blog entry by Alex Harrowell that highlights an article from Der Spiegel about the last prisoner, Uwe Hädrich, held by the Stasi at the Hohenschönhausen detention center and his continued questioning by a Stasi case officer late into December 1989:
