    FDJ Belt Buckles (1950's)

    Greetings,
I have recently added a couple of FDJ buckles to my collection - these should arrive soon and when they do I will post photos of them. If any of our members here have such buckles could they post images of these for comparison, for the super-serious photo archivists in our "collector collective"
should anyone have any images of these in wear - please post them here on this thread.
    Thanks
    KF

Thanks for posting the images Johan, is your belt marked? Did the belt
      come with this buckle?

        Hi Martin

Yes it came with this belt .
There are no markings on the bucle .
I have 5 of these FDJ Buckles , including an aluminum version .
Part of my collection is packed away , so I can't show you the aluminum version .

        Regards , Johan

          Hi Martin

There's only a number on the belt .
This number looks a lot like the so called '' RB Nummer '' ( ReichsBetriebsnummer ) from the Wehrmacht .

            Johan,

Very nice buckle. I have no seen many in this good a condition.

            Martin,

I have a coule of these buckles some place and I'll see if I can find pictures of them. One thing to watch for on these buckles is repainted ones. Most of them date from 50s/60s era and have lost their paint. Collectors have then "restored" them by paining the FDJ crest. The one Johan posted is an exception to the rule rather than the norrm. A really nice buckle and a hard one to find in this condition.

            Regards,

            Gordon

                        Hi Martin

                        That's a very nice one
You don't see them often in that condition .
