Hi Ralph, I think that this DDR General tunic is put-together but I am not sure?? I would let more experienced DDR tunic collectors will chime in. The eBay dealer is lastfrontline.Comment

This eBay seller 's starting price was too high. I dont have any money for this uniform. I will buy for any DDR tunics that I can afford.Comment

"lastfrontline" is much discussed on certain threads on this fourm... typically ones that deal with unscrupulous dealers or ones offering fakes. Members have pointed out that at least some, if not all, of his generals uniforms are fakes. Members have pointed out that he takes clean, crisp pictures of common medals, but somehow his camera can't focus on high end awards that have been poorly faked by truckdieler. Members have complained about buying lower-end uniforms (GT open collar parade tunic with cuff bars, I think) that wound up being fakes.
I would not buy this uniform at any price... OK, maybe for twenty bucks...

I do not recall the original source from which I acquired the photo.
The Held der DDR Order is a good copy ..... but that in my opinion is exactly what it is - a copy.

Also I agree with you after doing some additional re-search that Held der DDR appears to be a good copy along with the KGB Honor badge.Somebody, after all, had to make a start.
