1953 award?

i got this framed award from a fair, its dated 13.10.1954 and has 2 signatures

i was just wondering, what type of award is this(?) and what does it say?

Honour dokument for 5 years succesfull work for the Wismut.

The Wismut was the german - soviet mining company in saxony and thuringen which exploided the uranium for the soviet atomic bombs.

there would have been no other award to go with the certificate, other than may be a monetary award. The logo is that of the 5 year plan by the way ... Cheers, Torsten.

I have had similar certs in the past, but I would not say that they are common. Cheers, Torsten.

I believe these documents, dated of the beginning of the 50s are now quite difficult to find. I have not seen any recently in Berlin fleamarkets...
