        Just when you though this thread was finished, here comes another one!

        This is a double-breasted walking out tunic for a career NCO. It is custom made so there are no issue markings, but judging by the 1st pattern, 2-piece collar tabs & cuff bars (silver litzen stitched onto a wool base) and the career chevron, I'd say this tunic dates to circa 1964-66.

        This tunic shows that special insignia, such as Hauptfeldwebel cuff tresse & career (or non-career) chevrons, was worn on the double breasted tunic as well as the 4 pocket service and parade tunics.
