I agree, not DDR and certainly looks more like Wehrmacht, but it would be good to see if there are any inside labels or markings. Cheers, Torsten.

I can only reiterate: definitely NOT NVA or DDR.
It might be a Bundesgrenzschütz one (i.e. West German) but I don't know enough to comment and I would be surprised for it to be that.
The other possibility is some clever/not so clever reproduction for film work/ re-enactment. There were all manners of misconceptions as to what a German uniform looked like in American made films about WW2 in the 1960s.

So this is probably one of the jackets used in the production of films WW2.
