    What the hell is this?

Looks like home made from old Teil 1 + 2 Pouches. That comes when People are unemployed and have lot's of time for funny Ideas to earn some extra money.

I can assure you that the strichtarn pouch in question is real. They were widely used in Nicaragua and many of the pictures I see of them in use appear to be with the Nicaraguan BLI (Batallón de Lucha Irregular). The BLI were a type of unit that was charged with being Contra hunters. These chest rigs are VERY rare and hardly ever seen on the collectors market. I know a dealer who was making knock-offs several years ago from surplus EG rain pattern camo, but they were NOTHING like the one pictured.

Being a Central American collector.....I'd love to happen upon one. However, I'm not holding my breath.

After looking at the photos and reading from the other site I (IMO) would say MAYBE JUST MAYBE these were made by the DDR and never ISSUED but stored away and forgotten and or were made for export to other countries.
I'm no expert but this is the only thing I can see explaining these.
