Here it is.It should be from General major Bruhl.I would say that some off them are from the CSSR,because off the large size.
As we now, one is from Cuba and one from the UDSSR.

The Cuban FAR stands for Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias (Revolutionary Armed Forces). And I suppose it could be compared to the NVA 30th anniversary medal.

Looking forward to see that nice bar!

Hello Sefas - A very nice ribbon bar you have again added to your collection...

Karnet - Thanks for the information on the other foreign ribbons in question...

                Stefas,

Very nice ribbon bar. Don't often see them this good!
Placement of the Cuban medal seems more logical now. The Generals obviously picked out what he wanted from his multiple awards. The Russian Brotherhood in Arms is rare but they have been copied rather well lately so be careful. I've never seen the Romanian one for sale. Good luck in getting all of the medals for the ribbons on this bar. I'd post some pictures but I have to leave for the airport in a few minutes.

                Regards,

                Gordon

Perhaps you refer to the bulgarian Military merit medal. I´d lean towards the Red Star. It´s more likely for a general to receive an order than an enlisted or junior officer medal from another country.

I forgot to add, earlier verions of this MMM ribbon were quite similar to the order of the red star one. Later ones had a more grayish stripe and orange back instead of maroon.

Thanks a lot. What I now is that just a few Germans got this red star.
What would be so special about this General, that he earned one???

Nope, as I said before, it is not likely for a general to have been awarded a foreign military merit medal. I just added the resemblance between ribbons because there has been confusion more than once when checking ribbon bars, and in almost all cases -when present on high rank military personnel foreign bars- is the order of the red star.
