Does anyone know where to get a recording of the NVA Artillery song Rot ist unsere Waffenfarbe? Cheers, Torsten.

This song was such a "standard" in the NVA LaSK, nearly every branch of arms there used it; besides the "black" (engineering troops e.t.c.).
There is on one of the records of the Erich-Weinert-Ensemble, but in the version: "Gruen ist meine Waffenfarbe". This record is still aviable on AMAZON: http://www.amazon.de/Soldaten-Sind-V.../dp/B000H5TVTY
But : you know the song, I know it... So let´s do our own record...

Hi Dirk, I know. I also found other versions of it and I know it was the standard colour song ... but I am still hoping that there is a version of the Ari-lied somewhere .. we can always re-enact a march past the Tastenblocks singing it ... ;-) ... but of course you would have to get your tabs of margerine and waterbombs ready .. ;-) ... Cheers, Torsten.
