Currently i am in the process of doing my first parade tunic and it has come down to the medals. I doing a senior NCO with tress around the sleeves and red tabs and boards, plus all the awards. I thinking maybe 4 medals and using 'true service" medalsf for some of them unless somebody had something better that's still readilly availability. Thanks for any suggestions, Luke.

Presumably the tunic is for a career NCO, at the top or next to the top of the NCO rank ladder?
If that's the case, I think 3 or 4 medals would be appropriate - 5 & 10 year Treue Dienste, bronze (and maybe silver) Verdienste, or perhaps a Waffenbruderschaft in bronze.
Maybe one of the ex-NVA guys can comment on whether this is reasonable for a high ranking career NCO.
