I think that is Gepäck Teil 2 in flächtarn. I think Teil 2 is smaller and constructed differently than more familiar Teil 1 ("Sturmgepäck") and used to carry uniforms not in wear (later with strichtarn there was no distinction in appearance). Used early-mid 1960s.
I am sure Viktor or someone else can give more detail.
regards
Klaus

Genossen,
This Scale of Issue does Conform to the first Nr2 Assault Pack Norm.( before the Assault pack Nr1 und Nr2 was standardised with the same design bag.)
Genosse Klaus1989 is 73% Correct, he has attempted to Conformed to his Patriotic Duty to assist a Genosse, but Assault Pack Nr 1 is smaller than Nr2, later patterns bought Nr1 to Nr2 size Norms... this Traitorous attempt to reduce Genosse sgtdorango Combat Readiness has been handed over to SMERCh...
The packing of old Nr 1 , the replacement Nr 1 and the Nr2 Assault Packs.
Nr1 und Nr2 Assault Packs ( with a Respirator bag).
Assault Pack Nr1... Open.
This is how they buckle together... Nr2 lives under the large Knapsack flap of Nr1, Nr1 lives on your back Nr2 is largely a Clothing bag, in Company Transport.

It did not escape my notice that he stated that our dear Genosse Klaus was only 73% correct... ...
Poor Klaus! Even when you thought you had deferred to HIS authority... I know exactly how you feel! You have all my sympathy. 100% of it!
