Buttons and cuff bars

The buttons look repro to me, never seen construction like this, just would like to confirm.



Also got these cuff bars, look like zivilverteidigung's device placed on navy/trapo blue cloth, is it a put together?

The cuff bars are likely to be Feuerwehr.

I would say that the Buttons are Repro. I know them in a solid version only.
The Cuff Bars are unknown to me. To my knowledge, only the VP and Trapo had them.

I don't like the buttons. I have seen that type of backing on some very early DDR buttons from the late 40's to early 50's , but not on anything much later than that. I also don't like the shank. Plus the hammer in the Staatswappen looks just a little bit odd to me.

The cuff bars are not correct. The only Police organizations who wore cuff bars were the Barracks Police and the Kompanien der Trapo (the Trapo version of the Barracks Police). Barracks Police cuff bars would have green piping and be on a typical Vopo uniform green base, whereas Kompanien der Trapo cuff bars would have typical, light blue Trapo piping on a dark blue base.

The cuff bars could be either Zivilverteidigung (purple piped) or Stasi (maroon piped) on an incorrect blue base. It's hard to tell the color for sure from the photo.
