    Interesting new series!

    Folks,
Hurry up, it's only available for a short time.
Who has access to international Papers, buy this weeks Spiegel Paper.
They're starting a new series about the germans after the war through the decades.
This Weeks Special with DVD ( ca. 60min) Berlin in Summer 1945.
Very interesting colour film material with Uniform details from the Americans, British, Russians and some French. For DDR Forum Members of interest: Coments by Markus Wolf and some others. Everybody knows who he was.

    All,
It is a whole series on German History after World War 2. The first DVD is great. However, it is only in German and in the German DVD format. Mike Custer

Can you guys explain with more clarity?
      Is it a series of articles in the Berlin Newspaper Der Spiegel;
or is it a series of articles on DVD?

What exactly is it and most importantly, how does one go about acquiring the set?

      Thanks,
      Michael D. GALLAGHER

        Michael,
both is right, in the Paper and on DVD with original Material of about 60 min. I think most of them were made in colour by the US Army Air Forces.
In Berlin, they're sold out, but I ordered 2 Sets of the first Issue.
So maybe one Set for you and one for Ralph.

          Thanks for the response Nico,

And thanks for thinking of Ralph and me. If you are lucky and do get multiple sets, I definitely would like to have one. We can talk later more on this later when they hopefully arrive.

I also owe the DVD "Die Stunde Null, Berlin, Sommer 1945" (the zero hour, Berlin 1945), Michael. It was in the "Spiegel" magazine last week. I´m not sure, if there will come more DVD´s... This week there only was a report in the magazin and titled as part two.

Th DVD is shown here: http://shop.spiegel.de/shop/action/p...?aUrl=90009999

Cologne was never the same after Dirk moved there.

I thought it was called Fasching in Germany. I remember the German secretaries going around and cutting off ties on the day of Faschingnacht.
