Mystery Rain Pattern Bag, For Radio?

Here is anther recent mystery purchase. The seller said he thought it was a NVA parachute deployment bag. But it's too small and compact. I checked it inside and out and there are no markings that I can find. Inside is rubberized. It's around 15" x 17" and has that funky "DDR" smell associated with new items. The back has a flap that's held closed with two green bungy cords. There is no Grey webbing that you would normally associate with NVA equipment all of the straps are a light green and the snaps are silver rather than subdued.

Does anyone know what this bag is for? My best guess is that it's a bag for a radio. I believe the radio goes in from and the collapsible antenna in the rear.

I had 2of them, but mine hade a serial number and Data on the Front.
To my knowledge they had them only as Trial Pattern in a quantity of 200 like the Rope Bags.
The most interresting on the last Pic is the Berlin Wall plaque. Did you served in the BBde?

Nico - Thank you. I asked the seller if he had any NVA para items and he came up with this. He orignally said that this was a paratrooper's bag then a parachute deployment bag.

Do you know what it was actually used for? Radio, rope?

Yes, I was in Berlin from Nov 85 to Jan 89. That's my plaque from the Berlin Brigade G-4/DOL. I believe we talked some time ago about when I worked for Lou Fisher at S&S Division in late 1988. That's how I was able to go to East Berlin so frequently. I'd come in in the morning and Lou would say; are you busy today how would you like to go to East Berlin today and buy me some Cuban cigars? Then he would hand me a a few hundred East Marks and off I would go.

Yeah, forgot to say that it was used with the Para's only.
Used for the large Radio's. The Rope Bags look different. I'll take a while to find it, but I have one left. They're about 15x20x40 cm with a large Eylet on top of the Bag.
Everybody I know, connected to S&S, had to buy cigars for Lou in E-B. Some Years ago after he dies I was offered some Bags of Uniforms, Certificates and other Items and later found out that it was Fischers Stuff. "Fischer" and not Fisher was also the Nametag un his Fatiques. Do you remember a guy named Uwe Grosse? Maybe we have to PM or E-mail for some Details.
        Cheers

Nico, Thanks for your response, I sent you a PM on Uwe. This bag as a large off center metal eylet on top, which I assumed was for the radio antenna.
