Flag from the ''Haus der Junge Pioniere'' with time period photo

    Hello

I just received this fantastic flag from the Jungen Pioniere , its from the Haus der Jungen Pioniere '' Bruno Kühn '' Oberhof .
The flag is made of silk , I also found an original photo on the net
from this unique flag '' in action ''

    Regards , Johan

A beautiful flag with great provenance! I'd certainly try to have a good quality print made from the net image and keep it with the flag. Great luck!

        Incredible flag!
I love the "fraktur" germanic script writing on the flag!

Very nice addition to your already museum quality collection. It is great that you were able to locate a period picture of the flag in actual use. You have to be very pleased with this new addition to your collection. Great find.

            Hi Michael

Thanks for your kind words .
That photo from the flag in use was a very good find , I still have to print it .
I like flags a lot , the only problem I ( and many others ) have is to find a way to display them .
No I have about a hundred nice flags laid down on a big chest ( on top of each other ) and a few displayed in a room .
The most flags I have are from the Kampfgruppen ( including two bataillion flags )
Also I found a very interesting early flag from the 5-year plan ( 1954 ) with the 5-year emblem on one side , copper markers on the flag pole and this is unique , a wooden carved flag top in the shape of an ''friedens taube '' I dont know the english word :-)

            Regards , Johan

Johan, once again you have an amazing collection! You should hang few poles in your appartment and make a rotation from the flags displayed!

                  Hi Ben

I have some Soviet flags and the rest are all DDR flags .
There are about 35 KG flags in my collection , the rest are from the SED , FDJ , JP , FDGB etc.
As you know , I also have that KG grouping from Berlin-Prenzlauer-Berg ( 6 flags / honour books etc. )
Than I have 3 KG flags from Oranienburg ( bataillon / zug / hundertschaft )
when I have time , I will make a list for you from those KG flags .
I am changing my room , so now its a big mess , I dont know what I have anymore .
This is my KG flag from the KG bataillon(mot) Erich Weinert
