    Repräsentationsschnur (old type)

    Genossen,

As I said in my last post for the Officers Wach-Rgt Project. A few days
ago I've been to the not-so-local local depot (3 hours by train).

    Once there I found this:

An old steel thread type repräsentationsschnur.

At the top, the repräsentationsschnur from this topic.
Below, an repräsentationsschnur for officers (since I don't have
any newer versions like the one above)

    Label from the button loop:

    Label from the bag:

    At the lower right III-1-1 KaG 10-74 6500 1438.
Would the 10-74 be a production date? Since I don't
know from when till when these types of cords where
    issued.

If it would still be correct I might add it to this 1977 tunic:

    Enjoy,
    Selwyn

I have always liked these earlier metallic cords, they are superior to the later ones in every way and hang better aswell. You'd be fine to put this on a 1977 dated OR's tunic..

Nice, than I can finish that one up to a full parade tunic.
