Is this shoulder board correct?

Hello!I have purchased these two tunics from past few months, and i had thoughts about the shoulder boards attahced to them. Both of them are in the same rank: Unterfeldwebel. However, the white strap at the end of the shoulder board is not reaching and covering the ending edge of the board but leave space out.Is this shoulder board correct?

Yup, all such boards are made like this.

Yes, these boards are correct. Boards for Unterfeldwebel & up were all made this way after 1970.

From 1956-70, the tresse on the Unterfeldwebel boards was joined at the corners by a nice, 45 degree bevelled cut that completely covered the end of the shoulderboard.
