I'm going over my shirts and have plenty of shirts with 2 silver pebble buttons on the pockets that are pre 87. I'm looking at a 1985 dated one right now and also have a Volksmarinehemdbluse marked c for 83. Any clue as to when this transition supposedly took place? Why the 1987 marker?

QUOTE=Garulfo;2522517]1. As stated by Torsten, summer blouson worn instead of the jacket. Post 1987 made (2 buttons on the pocket).
2. Service shirt worn under the jacket. Exist in white for parade and walking out.
For the "N" I don't know but size related.[/QUOTE]
