        odd piece

I had two odd pieces I picked up. I traded Greendudley one and I still have one. They are a different style and I can't explain them.

@mikhealc: awesome pics of this pattern.

I found the variant with the green components very interesting, never saw one before, I tought, only the brown pattern existed..

No, it belongs more correctly with the Bundeswehr items. BW Amoebatarn was rarely used by the BGS.

                      regards

                        Genosse,
More Correctly in an Evidence Bag at a People's Court Trial,
Amoebatarn was a little used Tent camouflage, sometimes locally made a Helmet Cover Camouflage.. Very Nice, I use it if I come over all Reactionary as my Basha..

These pics are absolutely amazing. I have tried to find stuff like this for the longest time! I am trying to find some of this stuff to create an early NVA kit. Chris

Hello Chris - Welcome to the forum. DO you have any specific collecting interests?

Thanks for the message! My collecting interests are Wehrmacht em infantry stuff like field gear and uniforms. and of course early NVA em infantry stuff. I am in this for the reenacting aspects more than as a collector. I simply don't have enough money to be considered a collector. I am in the process of making a late 50s NVA kit for living history and reenacting purposes. I have nearly everything that I need aside from the PPSH41 and the Amoeba Camouflage suit. Chris

Chris - Thanks for your follow up. Hope you find what you are looking for and this forum will for sure grow on you even if your approach is from reenacting point of view...
