@Greendudley: This is a wonderful example of this very rare suit and camo pattern! Thank you very much for showing it to us, I would greatly enjoy fiewing further pics!!!!
I wasn´t even aware that a hooded veil did exist and you own one!
Amazing pieces, thank you for showing!!
@Stefas: I never saw one of these pieces on ebay, must have missed them...
Bad for me! Do you still know, for how much they ran out?
@All: Please keep on posting!!

Here is excellent photo of Soviet "Amoebatarn" in use with NVA sometime in mid-late 1950s. Shows usual hooded version. Same fieldgear setup GREENDUDLEY posted minus Rucksack in wear during field exercises. Interestingly, Soldat in foreground has PPSH41 while the others appear to carry the Moisin-Nagant. I saved this sometime ago on hard drive so no clue where original photo was from.
regards
Klaus

What does the VEB tag say?
Originally posted by GREENEDUDLEY View PostThe hooded jacket with face net. This design is same as the Russian WWII type smock with large hood and face net. This jacket has a VEB tag in it so it is East German made. The colors are a different shade from the rain cape and other omeba uniform I have.
