Die Garde Des Erich Mielke Wachregiment F. Dzierzynski

Found this book online specific to the Wachregiment Felix Dzierzynski. It's hardback, with 183 pages, printed on glossy paper. It's well illustrated with b&w photos, but I found the quality of the photos to be poor almost like they were scans! Disappointing. It was published in 2008 and printed in Serbia. Wouldn't call it a reference book more like a history of the regiment. Only colour plate shows rank epaulettes of the regiment. Good practice for my German!

I have one question regarding the 4 STASI soldiers in the last page. I thought that the brown belt always went with a double chevron which would be a career soldier. Why is the black belt with silver buckle not being worn??? I wonder only because of the single chevron on the sleeve. Thanks.
