Just bought a Vopo gala jacket.Is this a special model????I thought they where just like the nva model??The colour on the picture is darker than the colour off the jacket in real.Jacket is from 1987

Yes, this is one of the last model gala jackets for MdI. The other type is like NVA jackets, but different color and to more buttons. Is the jacket light green or light grey? -

It was introduced near the end, but I am not exactly sure. Nico or SCHUPO can both give you some more info if you ask. My VOPO one is dated 1990. Your's if it is grey with green piping is a pretty rare Wasserschutzpolizei gala tunic.Comment
