rumour has it that whilst deploying such excellent garb you were wearing Felt winter boots ... with Stiefelhose!
Genosse, that is not to the scale of norms and was not justified by snowy conditions... you were wise to hide such details by careful choice of photographic perspective, but the Boot Crime Squad has many eyes and many ears... and it is foolish to hope avoiding detection...
One would obviously wish to be lenient in your case... but one has no alternative but to enter this in your employment records... for further investigation

Well, they don't fall apart immediately.... WPFG ones have lasted well since 1990 but now need replacing with ones that havent been blasted with imperialist sun ray terror weapons.

        Genosse iannima,
Before the Duty Car arrives for your now almost ( Sadly) monthly Q and A with Internal Security elements of DDR Dress Regulations enforcement within the Organ's of this Progressive People's Forum..

Dress Regulation maybe amended by the Commanding Officer in regard to local weather conditions, this lack of under standing of standing Regulations will not look well on your already lengthy," colourful" and much frowned upon Employment Record Charge sheet appendix...

If you will Note this Command was Commanding Officer of all... ( erm... the only member of) ...Grenztruppen personnel at this Front...

The Regulations were conformed to... only I was the only one that didn't have cold feet at the Gig...

Thus another brick in the Dialectic of History of History was laid, proving the superiority of Marxist Leninism foresight over the reactionary and inferior Scales of Issue used by the Military-Industrial Complex.

On the plus side your own Internal Organ's of Internal Security are to be commended for their Intel gathering, also .. the use of "Grey Reporting" ... this goes in the spirit of Moscow Centre's own methods of allowing the Leadership to make of it as they will to support their own pet projects..... this Political Perception does you credit and will be noted in the People's Court minutes.

Thought I'd post a photo of my newly completed, and now favorite, boarder guard Oberleutnant Dienstuniform which I plan to make full use of at the local air show this summer!

Oh also a small side question.. Any one have any tricks for keeping the breeches from bunching up just above the boot shaft? You might be able to see what I'm talking about despite the poor quality of the photo.

Some trousers had elastic strips, with holes for the bottons.

At a big militaria fair yesterday:

A forum Genosse and myself (picture taken by his friend). It was snowing outside but rather toasty inside... Very little in the way of people's property to be recovered...

Glad to see two of this Commands most Progressive of Genossen about their Patriotic Duties....

This Front has for the last few years has become rather Reactionary in its Inferior, Fascist and Imperialistic Scale of Issue available for recovery.

This Command was Advised/Ordered by the Organ's of State Terror to be on Two Hour Combat Readiness for the State Issue and Installation of a New Food Serving and Preparation Washing Complex to be added to this Rezidencies Order of Battle in the struggle for clean dishes... , so I was sadly unable to attempt to attend and hopefully meet up with my valued Genossen..

Genossen, your Contact Reports are to be forwarded to Moscow Centre as normal.

I am sadly unable to deploy until spring for several reasons. One, I lack the appropriate NVA Officer winter hat in my size . Two, there are no oppurtunities that I know of to deploy any time soon

The ones I have found run for about $90 or so. This is the description:
THIS SYSTEM CONSISTS OF A SET OF (12) 4'
INTERLOCKING POLES, WHICH CAN BE COMBINED TO CREATE VARIOUS LENGTH POLES, 12 STAKES, AND 3 SETS OF 3 "SPEADERS" WITH COUPLING WHICH ATTACH TO THE TOP OF THE POLES AND UNFOLD TO CREATE 4' DIAMETER "PETAL" SPREADER SUPPORT FOR CAMO NETTING OR CANVAS

How sturdy would they be? These airshows tend to get a bit windy with the aircraft. Also about how far apart should they be spaced? I am looking to slightly enlarge my display next time to about 40 feet by 40 feet, and I think a height of aaorund 10 feet or so for the netting should be adequate. I would want to cover the entire display area.
RedBaran those are US poles and spreaders for the Camo netting to cover GP Mediums and variouse vehicals.
