Jon - Are you bidding on the items for your collection?
Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did. Quote - Sophie Scholl - White Rose resistance group

Hi Ralph. No ! I am not dumb enough to post links to items I am bidding on because most of you would be more than able to out bid me and I don't need the competition

They only send foreigners to Guantanamo . But you never know, they might. That reminds me of a funny situation. My brother and I share the same ebay account, and his address is the default. (We live in different states.) He has his address listed as his work address....he is an attorney working for a Federal Judge and therefore all incoming packages are x-rayed before being delivered to the person on the address label.
Well I ordered an RDC-64 Dosimeter from Deutschland and the x-ray tech's had an aneurism. They called the Federal Marshalls (stationed in the same court house) and they "interrogated" my brother about what in the h*** he ordered from Germany. From the x-ray all they could see were two small plastic rectangles that were attached to one another and what appeared to be a long wire. The 'wire' was the lanyard, and they wanted to blow up the package to be on the safe side. My brother called me, not very happy as you might imagine, and demanded to know what I had ordered from Germany. I had to ask what was the return address since there were a number of items en-route to me from Germany at the time . He told me and I told him. The G-Men were satisfied...but they still "inspected" the parcel by cutting open the package diagonally!!!!. Luckily my Dosimeter was un harmed and now lives a life of luxury in the safety of my collection.

Unfortunately the Fed's didn't think of giving my brother part of the package that was cut open...the side that had the stamps....You never know the current BRD may cease to exist in a hundred years and they will be worth a lot of money .
