and yet another interesting VVO Doc and Medal Group

    Hi all

Im happy to present my new VVO Doc and medal group that I won this morning

The reason why Im so happy with it is, it wasn#t awarded to Mr. or Mrs. "nobody" but instead, it was awarded to the world famous Porcelain Manufactory VEB Meissen or more specific, to one of the "departments" of this Manufactory

Of Course, after this Factory produced most of the DDR Porcelain Table Medals and NVA/MdI/MfS Plates, they merited to be awarded with the VVO. This VVO went to the Pottery Department. They were producing all kinds of Keramik Items.. but most likely did invent different procedures to make Keramik or to make new Moulds to produce something with Pottery.

also interesting is, that it is signed by Honecker instead of Stoph. I don't know yet if its Faksimilie or a real Signature. I have to find out when I have it at home.
Question: Why are the most VVO Docs signed by Stoph and some are signed by Honecker? The earlier VVO Docs were signed by Pieck, Grotewohl and Ulbricht. The later ones are mostly signed by Stoph and sometimes by Honecker.

    Regards

      Andreas,

Without question you are certainly acquiring and adding some very nice "High End" memorabilia to your collection, which by now without question has to be looked upon more from the aspect of being a small museum, than collection.
