        picked up the tunic today..

they couldn't remove all of the glue and it still has some minor tiny traces of glue but nothing serious as you can see from the photos.

Im quite happy with it now...THANKS FOR THE HINT WITH THE LAUNDRY SHOP

        Regards

Genosse, I am pleased to see this sad tale of fascist vandals has a happy ending (and a bright Socialist future ;-)) - tunic looks great now!

Its a WTO joint exercise badge, which one escapes me at present, but one from the 70's I think.

I join in the generalised congratulations! They certainly have done a great job and I am pleased that most of the traces of the offending symbol's presence have been removed...
On a parade tunifc like this one you obviously would have badges but that one from a joint Warsaw pact exercise might not the best one, as I don't think they were actually worn other than on the days of the exercise itself for propaganda purposes. What I would suggest you need is an appropriate Klassifizierzuspangen.
But it is a great tunic and no mistake!

Thanks It really was the best thing to do, to get rid of the glue.

I agree, the Badge isn#t the best for dispay but I didn't have anything else when I took the photos.

                        regards
