    Erich Mielkes Urkunden on ebay!!!

    man,have you seen it?!
There was a guy on ebay who sold a few Urkunden from the Master of the MfS.. ERICH MIELKE

he stated that he found the group on the flea market

how can end up something like this on the flea market??????????

ahhrg,i wish i had the money to spent it on those documents

that would have made the most the most common award "Aktivist der sozialistischen Arbeit" very special.

It would be a nice set but I do not like that the pictures are so blury. I have always had bad luck when I bought stuff where you really could not see what it was because of the quality of the photos. There is still some more listed on ebay.

call me cynical, but I think that there is something not right about those certs...the extremely bad pics certainly do not help it either...and the pics on his current auctions appear to be much better and more focused. Which Kollektiv did he belong to to get the Kollektiv der sozialistischen Arbeit award and which company/factory did he work for in Quedlingburg, etc? ALso, from what could be seen the certificates did not look like the quality that you would expect to see when they were to be given to Erich Mielke...??...anyhow, just my suspicious mind and I would not have bid on those...Cheers, Torsten.

There is definitely something wrong with this.

Eric MIELKE's medals, badges, awards, decorations and corresponding URKUNDE all were auctioned off by a very reputable auction house last year.

So this is phony baloney stuff.

The date on the urkunden was correct.
BUTTTT,i had a bad feeling about it.
          Found on a flea market?????

yes, I know he did...but he would not have got them in some obscure places...Quedlinburg is in the Harz and the other place is some small village somewhere, etc...he would have got them as being a member of the Kollektiv in the MfS ministry, but not from some obscure factories somewhere...I think these certificates are very fishy...the Kollektiv der sozialistischen Arbeit award for example could not just be bestowed on him by some factory boss wanting to suck up to him, he actually had to be a member of the Kollektiv that was being honoured...Cheers, Torsten.

just checked the complete list of all of his awards and he was indeed given the Aktivist der soz. Arbeit and the Kollektiv der sozialistischen Arbeit award in 1971 and by some factories that he could not have possibly worked in, but they were not given in the places that are stated on the Urkunden in the auctions, they were:

Aktivist: 8th February given by the VEB Kombinat Mess- und Regelungstechnik Werk Oranienburg
Kollektiv: June 1971 given by Brigade Malinowski im VEB Mansfeld Kombinat
Meister der SDAG: he was given that also in 1971, but on 3rd March and not on 30th March as stated in the third auction

so, the dates are correct on the first two certificates, but the places are not and I think the seller or the person that he bought the certs from had got hold of the dates somehow and made these certs up from blanks...but I would very much like to see good quality pics of the certs...Cheers, Torsten.

my thoughts would be (based on just imagines off course)
...its not far off, that mielke would have received those awards...
and he would probably have them received any other year. the mfs was involved in actually any big factory or "kombinat" in some way and if the boss of i.e. VEB mansfeld kombinat, was also mfs,it would have been a great pleasure for him to award the minister of the mfs with the award "kollektiv der sozialistischen arbeit" together with other recipients of the kombinat. maybe mielke was in the "board of directions" (Vorstand) of this VEB Kombinat..

as i said, this is all based on nothing and just a theory from me.

p.s. it just happened, that i also bought a urkunde from this seller.also with blurry auction photos but not a urkunde from erich mielke but from someone who was a secret agent and played a quite big role in the MfS and in the DDR-Auslandsspionage and was also involved with the NATO.
i don't think this urkunde is fake, because i think why would a faker just come up with this name out of thousand other?!
and because of this reason, that the seller also had this urkunde for sale..i tend to believe that those mielke urkunden are legit.

here is the blurry auction photo of the urkunde i have bought
..will post better pics of it when i have it at home

good theory and probably right...it says in the listing that I have got of all of his awards that he was an honorary member of the Kollektiv that got the award and so, he got it as well...Cheers, Torsten.

I think the obvious is being overlooked. If a well known auction house had most of Mielke's medals, awards, decorations and Urkundes, and auctioned them off last year at a substantial amount of money, how in god's name did other medals and Urkundes all of a sudden make their way to an obscure flea market? For me, this just does not make any sense.

                        I'm not buying it.

                          Michael,
I fully understand your concern and what you are saying... but i still see a possibility that not all of mielkes "Nachlass" went to this auction house..as you said, most went to it but probably not all.
we have to forget the flea market here.this is the best thing to say for the seller to cover his ar$e..but maybe in real he had them from a passed away high mfs officer or found them in a house clearing out of a close friend of mielke..or the seller itself was involved with the mfs somehow....lots of possibility here....or maybe just my overstrong imagination
maybe they only had the higher awards from him, that he kept at home and the more common ones,he left in his office that was occupied by all kind of peoples on the unofficial occupation of the stasi zentrale 15th jan. 1990. the so called "Day of the open Door" when the east germans looted the mfs buildings.
i also did read that mielkes wife was already offering some of his goodies when he was in jail.

we also have to see, that these were the most common awards, except the wismut one. and even a normal good working guy in a factory received the Aktivist medal more than once in his career.so,and mielke would have possibly received a whole truck load of aktivist and kollektiv medals during his career.
                          ..just my 2 cents

                          regards

I'm not a specialist at all, but if the documents sold by seller are as good as the Fallschirmjäger helmet he is now selling, I think the documents are poop.

no, he did not...as far as I can see from his complete list of awards and decorations, he only got the Aktivist and the Kollektiv once in his life and in 1971 for the dates that I listed below and by the companies that I listed below. Please DO have a read through my post earlier (post number 8)...the dates and the places on the certificates being auctioned are WRONG + look at the childish writing on the documents + more....these are home-made FAKES! Cheers, Torsten.
