Nice find, they're getting really rare. Sold mine years ago. I had the complete lot from the Ministry of Foreign Economy, with Thälmann, Pieck, Ulbricht and all the others they put to the basement.

                Hello Andreas

I very much like this bust from uncle karl , I have a thing for stuff like this
I hope I find a similar one someday.
In my collection I have a big bust from Karl Marx ( plaster ) , a very nice one
from Wilhelm Pieck (bronze ) this one is very, very heavy and made in 1950 and I have a really nice one from my special friend
Jozef Stalin ( bronze ) the one from Stalin was made by Professor Ingal at the
art academy of the USSR in 1952.
I cant show pictures , because I'm a normal member

                      Hello Johan,

Sounds like you have nearly the whole Family of socialist Busts complete.
I think you only need Lenin,Felix D. and Th******228;lmann to have it complete.

btw,my Karl Marx bust is rather small. Its about 15cm in Height. Something for the Desk

                      Regards

Johan - Is your Stalin painting original? And is the radio still in working condition? Thanks for posting!!!

Andreas - Yeah, I too hope that person is able to post some of his items from his bunker... PS - Nice bust you have posted and it is to bad that the name was carved out...

                              Hello Ralph

The Stalin painting is an original from the period he was in power and is 110 cm in height , this painting was the beginning of my communist bloc collection .The Zvesda radio is in a working condition , and when he's playing the red star lights up ! ( the radio is from 1954 , a year after stalins death ) the radio comes up for sale on german Ebay now and then .
I have some more nice and original oilpaintings from Stalin and Lenin.
