    Ever been to see the Maginot Line Bunker at Hatten in Alsace?

    Just back from holiday in France and on Friday last week I went to a little military museum in a small village called Hatten in Alsace...primarily to see the Maginot Line Bunker and associated museum...which was very interesting...but to my surprise they had quite a large collection of NVA military vehicles....here are the pics..Cheers, Torsten.

    First up is an NVA MIG21...

        all of the vehicles looked to be in a very poor and uncared for state unfortunately...as if they had been parked up more than 10 years ago and never been looked at since....

                    could only take pics through the windows of a display that was meant to depict an inter-allied control checkpoint...

                      east german display cabin that also had an Soviet Army soldier mixed into it and some of the east german uniforms on display had severe mistakes in rank and awards, etc...
