    2x VVO

Well, I am very pleased with this double award spange and thought some of you might be interested to see it...but I also have a question and that is regarding the two boxes that I got with the double award...would these two be correct to have gone with these particular two VVO's??? Cheers, Torsten.

                      Hi Torsten,

2 VERY NICE VVO'S Congrats! Interesting Piece with the two different Suspension Versions. I like those silver ones with the red enamel.

I have my doubts with the 2 Cases. They look like the Cases for the "Banner der Arbeit".
Mine is a grey one with opener.

                      Regards
                      Andreas

I think you may be right...did the VVO cases have the shape of the order build into the design of the case? Cheers, Torsten.

No,I was wrong ..I had another look and it could well be one of the later style cases for the VVO. The Banner der Arbeit Case looks different to this Case.
Here is another Thread showing your type of Case. http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...light=vvo+case

To your question regarding shape of VVO build in the Inside of Case,no it is not build in.
                          Regards
                          Andreas

thanks Andreas...but I am still not completely sure about my two cases.... they do not have the catch build into them...Cheers, Torsten.

I have three older VVOs with the double loop suspension (1 Silber 900, 2 Bronze).

The silver medal comes in a silver grey colored case with a black velvet lining, pushbutton locking device, black lining under the medal and the lid lined in white.

The blonze medals both come in red boxes, but they are different sizes. The smaller box has a yellow felt like lining under the medal with the lid lined in white. The larger box, which is for an older medal, has a grey felt like lining under the medal and white lining in the lid.

None have the shape of the medal in ths case like recent examples of the BdA sold on E-bay.
