Hi Jon, looks like a superb reference book .. not seen one of those before ... thank you for showing the good old SKET entries ....
you should see the state of the old SKET factory in Magdeburg now ...

                Cheers, Torsten.

PS: I will see it again next week ...

                  Jon,

Great book for the reference material you are interested in. A question, on the fly leaf of the book is a double M symbol. What does that stand for? I have seen it in relation to the DDR before.

                  Regards,

                  Gordon

Gordon, that is the symbol of the Leipziger Messe trade fair and the book was published by the Leipziger Messe as a directory of the DDR manufacturers for visitors to that trade fair. Cheers, Torsten.

                      Torstenbel,

Thanks for refreshing my memory. I knew that information once but couldn't think of it today.

                      Cheers,

Emhage and Perfekt both listed. Emhage is still listed at Heinrich Roller Str. 15.....and IS a PG (Produktionsgenossenschaft)

Jon - Very nice reference book to have on your shelf. Thanks for taking the time to post parts of the book.

Thanks for posting the pictures of the listings of these hat makers. Nice information and it goes well with some of my hats.
