DDR badges for Veterans of the International Brigades (Spanish Civil War)

    DDR badges for Veterans of the International Brigades (Spanish Civil War)

    I believe both of these badges to be DDR issued. Could anyone confirm this please? And if so, what was this first one given for? Was there any particular occassion or would this be a simple Veteran badge? Cheers, Torsten.

    This one evidently is a 25 years Spanish Civil War anniversary badge from 1961, which I would assume was also only given to International Brigades Veterans...could anyone please confirm or correct my assumptions? Cheers, Torsten.

      hello,yes I think so.They where given to the vets.There where lots off al these badges/pins.
      Also to the victims off the 3 reich.And the one who fought against it.

        according to some other info I received by PM and saw on another forum, this appears to be it for these pins...they appear to have been issued for Vets of the International Brigades and there were also anniversary pins for later years. Cheers, Torsten.
