      Greenedudley,

Thanks for the additional photos. Unfortunately, the photos I posted were not of a knife in my collection but one that was on auction. I would really appreciate it if you would post the title of the diving book, author etc, you used for reference on this post so That I can try and get a copy for my reference library.

      Cheers,

      Gordon

The book is an East German Military Manual produced by the East German Army. I will check and see if my friend by Schweinfurt has any more. I bought this one eight years ago.

          Greenedudley,

I just returned home and reviewed my emails. Saw the scan of the Handbuch for the first time. When I read your post from my sister-in-laws PC the photo of the book did not come up. Now that I can see everything I'll try and find a copy of that particular Handbuch.

          Cheers,

          Gordon

Very true, because this Paratrooper knife was unit equipment there was no need to issue such a certificate.

                        Gentlemen,

Thank you both for your comments. My point in making my suggestions is that there are many collectors who visit this forum who don't have the background of those making the post. Just my intent to make the information we put on the forum easily understandable to anyone who reads it.

                        Regards,

Gordon, such fake Empfangskarte came together with the "Kampfmesser 66" of the "Null-Serie" / "Nullserie", ("Zero-series"):
