Hello Akina,I had once a wintercoat from the grenztruppen marked with DDR inside.
I've heard that this could mean that these clothes where for the MFS.
I'm not 100% sure about it.
I know that the MFS clothes in the 60's where marked with MFS,maybe in the 70's with DDR.
I found the DDR I + II markings only on some 1950's and early 60's stuff.
Cant believe that they are on late 70's stuff.
All the things I got from the MfS directly had all the normal Stamps or no one.
Like on a Box with Camo BB-Caps marked as " Feldmütze MfS" and the Caps are all stamped NVA.
Also with the last type, US-Style NBC Overgarment, directly fron the Depot, but marked NVA.
Nico
I believe the "DDR" marking is an early generic stamp and not related to the Stasi or MfS. I have various early items with these markings including tunics, field equipment, and a rain cape.
