    A question of Female uniform

Please look at Page 36,The female Leutnant wear a uniform with six buttons:

When did female uniform change to this style?

    Kolia,

The Uniformjacke shown with six buttons it the "walking out" dress uniform (Ausgangsuniform) while the Uniformjacke with three buttons is the service uniform (Dienstuniform). The Ausgangsuniform underwent some changes over time, and indeed went from double breasted to single breasted in some services, but I do not know the dates for the Landstreikräfte. You will also find these early double breasted Ausgangsuniformen with dark collars but frankly I have never seen one except in photographs.

Notice that female uniforms button from right to left while male uniforms button from left to right. That is the key to determine female uniforms from male tunics. Of course there are other indicators when the uniform is in hand.
