    DDR bars?

This is the first I've seen. Too bad there's no image of the reverse.
I'd love to see the suspension device for it.

When I first saw the title of your thread, I was hoping you might be looking for information on DDR drinking establishments... and I could certainly have told you a thing or two about those... don't have any DDR medal bars in at the moment and so, can't post a pic of the back of one...but I am confident that others will... Cheers, Torsten.

yes...just thought I try something different from time to time...this is the third avatar that I am using on this forum and when I find another, interesting one, I'll change to that.. I tried to get the GIF below reduced in size sufficiently to use an avatar on the forum, but it just does not work... Cheers, Torsten.

This is one of those weird ribbon bars that always drives me crazy. If its Stasi, then its okay. That would explain the mixture of Police and NVA medals.

Michael, you're right...I had not even noticed that mixture of services... Cheers, Torsten.

Anyone ever seen a multiple award suspension device?

Similar to the Russian style or something different?
              Thanks,
              Eric Gaumann

They do exist and they were similar to the Russian style in terms mounting the ribbons, but I think the suspension system was a little different...however, I only have a soviet one to hand at present and no east german one... but here is a pic of my russian...Cheers, Torsten.

Interesting! Looks like it's similar to single medal suspensions.
                    Thanks,
