You are a huge help. I have also found a yellow and a black waffenfarbe as well. For such a small and focused organizatoin, they have quite a few sub directorates!

They did have quite a few colors. I think the underlay came in gelb, hellgrün, rot, türkis, orange, hellgrau, & schwarz. All indicating different job functions. It does not seem like the organization was very effective though. The pollution in East Germany was quite severe but who knows how bad it might have been without this agency.

Thank you for your reply. I would love to find more information on this organization. Do you recommend any specific references? I would love to find that book shown in this thread, but I fear that it is a very rare publication...

Their ranks must not of held a high number of employees as I feel really lucky to have the one uniform I do. I finally got it from a vendor in Germany. Even he took a couple of months to find the tunic and cap!!

They surely had a busy job trying to stem the pollution levels!
