Thanks for posting the photographs. I think they will help Torsten identify his tunics.

The TRAPO Ausgangsjacke in grey that is shown above should be what your tunic #3 looks like. Another quick way to tell the difference is that the military tunics often have a dagger hanger strap inside under the left armpit while police tunics normally do not.

I've not seen a 4-pocket Police Tunic before of the type you posted.

Thanks for the pics. I had to cut back on the wine to grow more gray matter cells so I could absorb this new information. This is all very new to me.

no fluorescent lights in my house...they are ordinary spotlights in my kitchen ceiling....yeah, the camera I have is quite an old one, but it serves me very well taking the more close up type pics for my smaller items for ebay, but it is not good enough for these larger pics... hopefully, and providing that there is decent sunshine in Liverpool this weekend then I will take better pics of the tunics outdoors...but I only after I have done the gardening of course...don't want to embarass myself with the state of my English lawn... Seriously Torsten,

I have a relatively new camera and still on occasion experience the same problem when shooting indoors with a flash and auxilliary lighting from an incandescent light bulb. I usually have to re-process the pic by tweeking the colour to a more original hue.

So like you, I try to shoot outdoors, weather and time permitting.
