The pouches are very common on ebay.de since they became surplus from the Bundeswehr. Sometimes you can find them new with the actual dosimeter included. The pouch is stamped with "Körper Seite" "body Side" so you know what way to attach hit.
Ok now I understand, thank you Sammlermws I really appreciate your help.
But the big idiot that I am took away these extra buttons I thought it was some kind of after-90 stuff.
But I'm glad to know now why they were there.

A few bits and bobs picked up over the last year. The last few years have been mostly spent on collecting WW2 Finnish items but DDR was always my first love!
Volkspolizei officer circa 1960.....
Volkspolizei NCO early 1960s summer shirt (couldn't find my early buckle!)
btw if anyone has a correct vintage cord for the 1962 cap let me know!
Volkspolizei skimutze mid to late 1950s with the harder to find 2 piece cap badge......
Volkspolizei side cap mid 1950s to early 1960s
DVP HVA cap late 1940s to mid 1950s ( i think this is more likely Reichsbahn as its not the usual felt material and due to the maker........still it was cheap!)
Finally a couple of Feuerwehr caps.....
1954 marked professional Feuerwehr.....
Mid to late 1960s Volunteer Feuerwehr (Emhage, plastic visor)
thats all for now, hope you like them!
Regards,
Rich

Hi Paul
MDJ was the way they wrote it in the beginning ( Ministerium Des Inneren ) later they wrote it as MDI , so it has nothing to do with Ministerium Der Justitz .
Here I have two photos of my Kettle Drums , also marked with MDJ

Johan,
I've got to ask you, cause its been bugging the hell out of me.
Do you ever play the Kettle Drums? I know if they were in front of me everyday, I would not be able to resist the temptation of beating on them (and waking up all the neighbors).Michael D. GALLAGHER

I use to play around with my instruments , including my Trumpets.......
Since I live in a normal street , I have to think at my neighbours .

Sorry I am a few posts late in responding Rich, but thanks for posting some early cloting items. Much appreciated.Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did. Quote - Sophie Scholl - White Rose resistance group
