    Officer's early dated service uniform

    This Major's service tunic is dated 1962. It is made of gabardine material, and interesetingly has subdued collar insignia and shoulderboards. The schirmmutze is dated 1963 with bullion embroidered cockade and white cap piping. A gold DDR sports badge and cloth ribbon bar completes the tunic. (The breeches are dated 1966.)

      STASI Colonel's black collar parade uniform

      This tunic and breeches set are both marked/dated TGL, 4th quarter 1966. The collar insignia and parade cuff bars are made of hand-embroidered wire. The tunic has a silver DDR sports badge and 12 medals. The top medal/order is the VVO in bronze. The honor dagger came seperate from the uniform.
