Micheal - Thank you for posting and showing us your collection...pretty soon your collection will pull you in and you will need a bigger room(sssss).

And showing the WAF is a nice touch...

Hi Michael, very nice... I do like the Hundefuehrer badge...is it an original or a repro?? Could you do a close up of just that badge? Cheers, Torsten.

            Hallo Torsten!
I assume you mean the "dog handler badge in first class" or at lest that's what I call it. I will certainly give it the 'ol college try. BUT I have to tell you that everytime I make a picture appear here on the forum, my Mrs. has to do it for me because I am REALLY dumb when it comes to computers and resizing pics so that they fit here. Oh and as far as I know it is real not a repo.

Well I kinda thought this one badge was pretty cool, but then again I like to drink beer and sing... What do you think of this one?

Michael, that badge certainly looks very nice... and original and you do not see too many of those around...unfortunately, these are already being faked... Cheers, Torsten.

Thank you very much, I am in the process of "adding" to my third reich collection. I just have reached the point I am afraid to buy things from that period for fear of paying a lot for something that will turn into a fake later down the road. So I found this forum and found that I like this very much. Not to mention the fact that the opportunity to "talk" to real members of the N.V.A. and citizens of the DDR is ALWAYS enjoyable to me as a novice student of history. Nice to chat with all of you You guys are the reason I ended up becoming a paying member.
Torsten I would LOVE to be in Berlin with you at the end of the month, but I will be in Phoenix Arizona with my Lady friend golfing. ......and drinking beer!!! Did they golf in the DDR? Well Cheers!

Michael - I am more then happy to comment about your displaying collection...

Good to read that your collection is slowly expanding. Once you someday put your items in a glass display...I would be interested in seeing how you have it set up.

I am afraid Golf was not a sport that was known or played in the DDR...far too much associated with the whealthy imperialist West... Cheers, Torsten.

Yep, I got this picture off here. Maybe it was Michael who posted it? I can't bother to remember.

Now that I look at it, the first visor might be panzer. I am certain the one who posted it also posted an ari visor so if we're lucky we might get posted again.
