            My first thought was the Palast der Republik, but was really worried by the location of the TV tower...
            Now, I have a better idea.

                          Okay, it has been 24 hrs and not even a guess. Maybe it's time for a few hints:

                          Born in Leipzig in 1916. He was a journalist and a member of the Politbuero from 1970-1989. He was awarded the Hero of the Labor (Ehrentitel Held der Arbeit). He died in 1992.

                            he also was editor in chief of Neues Deutschland until 1978.
